Tim Cullen  
 
     
 
Tim Cullen is an Associate Fellow of the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford where he is Director of the Oxford Programme on Negotiation (www.sbs.oxford.edu/negotiation), in which he teaches ethics in negotiation. He is Chairman of The Executive Leadership Faculty, which brings together outstanding professors and practitioners from the world’s leading universities to teach executive education programmes custom-designed for business and government.

Cullen also heads the consulting firm, TCA International Policy Management (www.timcullen.com), which focuses on issues of economic development, governance and integrity, and the management of reputational risk/opportunities for countries and companies. He is also a Commissioner on the Financial Supervision Commission of the Isle of Man Government which regulates financial institutions and companies in one of the world’s leading offshore financial centres.

Cullen’s early career was with Ford Motor Company in the UK and US, and Continental Bank in Chicago (1975-78). He joined the World Bank in 1978 and became Chief of External Relations in the European Office in Paris in1984. He returned to Washington as the Bank’s Chief Spokesman and Chief of the Information and Public Affairs Division in 1990, with responsibility for relations with a wide range of external constituencies. For several years, he served on the Joint United Nations Information Committee, and in 2000-1 he was a member of an Experts Group appointed by the Director General of UNESCO to advise on the organization’s external relations and visibility.

He received an MA from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. During his career at the World Bank, he visited some 30 leading universities as a guest lecturer.

Cullen is a Senior Associate Member of St. Antony’s College, Oxford and is a Trustee of the Institute of Business Ethics.

He is the President and Chair for Leadership programs at Dominion.
